Warranty
Standard Comprehensive Warranty covers manufacturer's defects of all parts up to 1 year (not from the time of purchase but from the time of delivery) and 6 months on the battery.
Flat tires if punctured, light bulbs, wear and tear, lack of maintenance, accidents or collisions, misuse, abuse, neglect, damage incurred from accidents, floods, salt and other foreign debris or chemicals, and extreme cold temperatures are not covered by the comprehensive warranty.
Your warranty is covered by the Pre-Delivery Inspection and Assembly Charge (PDI). If PDI/Assembly is not taken then there is no Comprehensive Warranty Coverage, however, a 3 months Parts Warranty will be included. Allow for a minimum of 72 hours for PDI/Assembly, at which time test and trial runs are conducted on the products to ensure all systems are safe and operable.
Not included above:
1. Accidents including those due to improper maintenance, vehicle overload, external environmental corrosion or misuse causing damage to the vehicle.
2. Owner or User attempted repair beyond the scope of those described in the Troubleshooting Guide.
3. Unsupervised repairs other than those described in the Troubleshooting Guide or outside the premises of an authorized dealer, installation or replacement of parts voluntarily or otherwise before inspection by a dealer, vehicle overhaul outside premises of or not performed by a dealer, use of any non ElectroWheels replacement parts, improper maintenance or maintenance of purchase documentation.
4. Consumables including brake pads, fuses, bulbs, inner tubes, tires, body fairing breakage, scratches and abrasions, horns, reflective films and miscellaneous connectors.
5. Any costs associated with repairs by other than an authorized dealer.
6. Transportation cost to authorized repair locations.
7. Any modifications made to this vehicle void the warranty.
8. Legally these bikes are governed – if the governor is removed your warranty becomes null and void. ElectroWheels will not be liable for any damages when the governor is removed.
9. Electric bikes are made for the roadways. Riding your electric bike off-road will void your warranty.
10. Warranty is valid to original purchaser only. If resale of the bike occurs, warranty becomes null and void. New owner of bike may purchase a new warranty by contacting the manufacturer.
